The Power of a Positive Coach

 

 

At seven years old, children are forming their confidence, character, and sense of belonging. A positive coach during this stage can shape how they see themselves for years to come.

 

I’ve been given the opportunity to serve as Head Coach of the Boca Braves 7U football team. While the Boca Braves organization operates separately, Tha Way Inc — a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit — is accepting donations on behalf of the 7U youth players to ensure every child has the resources and support needed to fully participate.

 

This is about more than football. It’s about structure, mentorship, discipline, and creating a safe environment where young boys can grow.

 

Your support helps provide everything necessary to operate a well-organized, safe, and development-focused program  ensuring no child is limited by financial barriers.

 

But what matters most isn’t just what’s provided  it’s what’s built.

 

With five dedicated mentors consistently interacting with these children throughout the week, we are creating:

 

 Daily positive affirmations

 Accountability and discipline

 Confidence and self-worth

 Life lessons that extend beyond the field
